While much of the adventure racing community’s attention was focused on Stage 2 of The Raid over the weekend, another race was taking place in the San Juan Mountains, near Durango, CO. The sixth annual Durango Adventure Xstream Adventure Race was won by Team GoLite/Timberland in 15 hours, 32 minutes. The race has become one of the premiere 24 hour adventure races in the country and offers a mix of trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, and navigation challenges.
