Ed Viesturs Book Tour

I’ve mentioned Ed Viesturs a number of times in my blog. He’s arguably the greatest American mountaineer ever, and the first to summit all 14 8000 meter peaks. On October 17th he’ll be releasing his book No Shortcuts To The Top and follow it up shortly there after with a book signing tour. So, if you want to meet Ed, and possibly get a book signed, here’s your chance. He’ll be appearing at the following places:

Oct. 18 – New York City – Barnes and Noble in Union Square (7 PM)
Oct. 19 – Washington, DC – Olsson’s Books & Records (2111 Wilson Boulevard – 7 PM)
Oct. 20 – Boston, MA – Porter Square Books in the Porter Square Shopping Center (7 PM)
Oct. 24 – Seattle, WA – Elliot Bay Books (1119 Eight Ave – 7:30 PM)
Oct. 25 – Portland, OR – Powell’s City of Books (3702 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd. – 7 PM)
Oct. 26 – San Francisco, CA – Book Passage (51 Tamal Vista Blvd – 7 PM)
Oct. 27 – Salt Lake City, UT – The King’s English Bookshop (Highland High School, 2166 South 1700 East – 7 PM)
Nov. 1 – Chichago, IL – Borders Books (830 N. Michigan Ave. – 7 PM)
Nov. 8 – Denver, CO – Tattered Cover Bookstore (L2 Church on East Colfax and Columbine – 7 PM)
Nov. 9 – Boulder, CO – Boulder Bookstore (Unity of Boulder Church, 2855 Folsom St. – 7:30 PM)
Nov. 16- Austin, TX – Book People Bookstore (603 N. Lamar – 7 PM)
Nov. 30- Los Angeles, CA – Dutton’s Brentwood Bookstore (11975 San Vicente Blvd. – 7 PM)

You may want to call ahead to be sure the dates/times/locations are still set. Don’t miss your chance to meet a climbing legend, and get a signed copy of his book that I’m sure will be a wonderful read.

I've been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!

Thumbs up, and keep it going!
