Adventure racer turned endurance mountain biker Rebecca Rusch is featured in this article over at Idaho Mountain Express. It’s an interesting article with Rebecca discussing her recent forays into 24 hour mountain bike races, which she admits is not one of her strong AR disciplines. Seems like she should enjoy it a lot more now though, considering she won two 24-hour endurance events this past year. Not bad for just starting in the sport.
Rebecca is one of the leading female adventure racers, and obviously she’s a well rounded endurance athlete. Looks like 2007 will continue to be a busy year for her, as she’s planning on racing the AR World Championship in Scotland and continuing to compete in endurance mountain bike races as well.
