Most Expensive Snowboard Ride Ever?

Mountain Zone is reporting that LA Laker Vladimir Radmanovic has been fined $500,000 for violating the intent of his contract because he was injured in a snowboarding accident during the recent NBA All-Star break. Radmanovic tore up his shoulder and will be on injured reserve for up to six weeks. He is also new to the sport and was reportedly still learning.

So, he popped for all the gear, a slick new board, boods, bindings, the works. Bought a lift ticket, he was in Park City, Utah after all, so I’m sure that cost a few bucks. He probably should have spent a little more for the private lessons while he was ati. It would have been cheaper in the long run. 🙂
