Just a note to say THANKS to everyone who voted for the American TransAlps Mountain Bike Team. A few days ago I asked for your help in voting for Shannon Boffeli and his wife Jennifer Hanks, collectively known as Team Shannifer, and I received word this morning that they won the vote and will be going to Europe this Summer to particpate in the race.

Shannon is the cousin of a good friend of mine and has wanted to particpate in the TransAlps race for some time. Now, he and Jennifer will get their chance to ride the 385 mile course from Nothern Germany to Southern Italy, crossing the Alps and facing the challenge of 65,000 feet of vertical gain in the process.

Good lucky Shannon and Jennifer! And thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for them!
