Jake Norton, mountaineer, Everest Summiteer, and writer of the excellent MountainWorld Blog has posted a very cool interactive panorama of Everest’s Northeast Ridge.
Jake says he shot the high resolution shots while on Everest back in 2004, and then with the help of Photoshop magic, he pieced everything together to form this really sweet tool. You can ban around the face of the mountain, zoom in and out, and get a great view of the mountain. It’s almost like being there, minus the frostbite, thin air, and Russell Brice.
Nice work Jake. Thanks for taking the time to put this together and sharing it with all of us.
