It’s Wednesday, and while Lost may still be on re-runs, we can count on a new episode of The Rest of Everest to see us through. This week, we’re up to Episode 55: The Young Ones.
The episode starts with Ben being reunited with his friend Jess Roskelley, who is the youngest American to ever summit Everest. At the time Ben was the second youngest. The two share their summit experiences and the challenges of the climb in general, while Jon catches it all on tape. It’s a great segment as these two young climbers chat like only old friends can, and share experience like only Everest summitteers can. It’s fun to sit and listen to them almost like you’re in the tent yourself.
