A kind, but anonymous reader, passed this link along in the comments section. It’s a video from the Canadian Broadcasting Company website about that tragic story I posted about last night regarding the two adventure racers who drowned while training in kayaks over the weekend.
The video is an interview with survivor Bob Faulkner, who was one of the seven people who set out on the training exercise in rough weather which later turned to severe weather which eventually caused one kayak to capsize and another to sink altogether, forcing paddlers into the water where they were ill equipped to deal with the cold conditions.
It’s a sad story, and I send my condolences to the friends and family of the two men who died.
