The gang over at OutdoorsMagic.com have put together a nice collection of videos for this weeks Friday Matinee. The subject this time out is The Eiger, everyone’s favorite big wall in Europe that is back in the news thanks to Joe Simpson’s film The Beckoning Silence being shown on the BBC recently.
There are a number of cool videos, from YouTube once again of course, on the page. You’ll find climbing on The Eiger of course, and BASE jumping back off of it. They’ve even found the trailer to the IMAX film that is the companion to John Harlin’s The Eiger Obsession which I highly recommend by the way.
