Yesterday, in my latest “Antarctic Update” I reported that the Beyond Endurance Team was expected to reach the South Pole sometime today. Judging from their latest dispatch, which simply consists of nine letters, we can pretty much determine that they reached their goal.
That dispatch simply reads: “atthepole”. The Irish team can be forgiven for not using spaces in their most recent note from Antarctica, as clearly they are exhausted from their journey and wanted to be as succinct as possible. In the same spirit, I’ll simply say: congratsteam!
