In all there are 8 winners and 5 Runner-Ups. Each of the shots are great, and if it’s true that “a picture is worth a thousand words”, than these images are speaking volumes about the spirit of adventure and exploration.
I’m a bit biased, but I’m rather fond of the shot from Kilimanjaro that I’ve linked to here. But honestly, it’s hard to go wrong with any of them. I just need to learn to take better pictures like these, and then go to more places to take advantage of those skills! 🙂 Congrats to all the winners. Excellent work.

Thanks DSD! I’m on the mend finally. Nothing like being on the couch for five days when you’re use to running, biking, hiking, and so on. I still can’t do all that fun stuff, but I’ll be back to it soon enough! 🙂
