Fresh off launching their newly redesigned website, Backpacker Magazine has posted a couple of good gear test articles on tents and daypacks.
First up, they turned their focus on three-person tents, taking a peek at products from Black Diamond, Big Anges, REI, and more. They were looking tents that were lightweight, but still tough, and slept three comfortably, and had some great suggestions for all around use in a variety of climates and seasons.
And when youβre done picking out your new trail shelter, you may want to pick up a new daypack while youβre at. This article looks at four packs from four different gear companies, each good for a variety of uses. The article is short, but comments on the Camelbak MULE, GoLite Rush, Mountain Hardwear Riff, and the Gulper from North Face. Each pack has itβs own speciality and offers a little something different, even though all four are considered daypacks. Just to be safe, you may want to pick up each of them. π
