Yesterday I received word that registration is now open for the first race in the Primal Quest Sprint Series. The first event in the new series will take place in Pocahontas State Park, near Richmond, Virginia on May 10th.
The 4-6 hour long event is designed for new and veteran adventure racers alike. Featuring the traditional AR disciplines of trail running, mountain biking, and paddling, as well as a few surprise challenges, the Sprint Series will be an excellent event for adventure racers, runners, mountain bikers, padllers, triathletes, or any one else who is looking to experience a fun adventure.
The second event in the series is already scheduled to take place at the U.S. National Whitewater Center near Charlotte, North Carolina on Oct. 4th. In addition to the two 2008 races, an additional nine races are in the early stages of planning for 2009.
You can find out more at PrimalQuestSprintSeries.com including the now active Registration Page. Good luck to everyone!
