Adventure Wants To Send You To South Africa

National Geographic Adventure and South African Tourism have joined forces to send a lucky winner off to that country on an adventure of their own.

In the contest entitled “Adventurers Wanted”, we’re encouraged to submit a short essay (250-500 words) and a photo that describes an adventure of our own, or describe another adventurer and why they should be sent off on this trip. The essays will then be reviewed by a panel from Adventure, chaired by Andrew Skurka no less, with a winner being selected to receive a trip for two to South Africa, that includes a custom adventure itinerary. And if that wasn’t enough, the winner will also be invited to National Geographic’s “Adventurer of the Year” awards ceremony being held in Washington DC on November 20th.

The entry deadline is October 15th, so head on over to the contest entry page and fill out the form. With a few well written sentences you could be on your way to a new adventure of your very own. Just remember, it’s a trip for TWO, so if you can’t possibly think of anyone else to take along, Im sure I’ll be available. I hardly make a sound on 18 hour plane rides. Promise!
