This one comes courtesy of the Best Hike Blog (who else?) and is a great video of Mount Hua in China, often called the “World’s Most Dangerous Hike”. The video was shot as part of a television show hosted by Robin Esrock. Check out more of Robin over at his website ModernGonzo.com.
Enjoy the video. Just don’t look down!

top blog mate, long time lurker, first time poster.
ahh good old Mt Huashan. The other hike that competes for the most dangerous is the El Camino Del Rey (The Kings Pathway) in spain.
Yep! THe El Camino Del Rey is awesome as well. I had video on it awhile back too. Both are scary! 🙂
Glad you like the blog!
Whoa. Dude.
Seen the email, now I’ve seen the movie.
Be sure to post a follow up when the free-runners discover this route 😉
OMG, so far I’ve seen only photos of this place and now I’m sitting with my eyes wide open and shivers running up and down my spine! That’s absolutely amazing, and crazy, and haunting, and crazy again ;oD
The free runners would have a field day on that trail. Well, the good ones anyway. 😉
Wow, that was a really extreme adventure! I hope to go there one day, maybe take some photos. I hope to write more about that in my blog:
Extreemblog.com too.
Great post
Mount Hua in China might just be the "World's Most Dangerous Hike". My wife and I climb but this trek is surely one that she will not go for. Jungles with snakes and leeches do not scare her but slipping on ice and falling to her death frightens her.
