Introducing Wide World Online Magazine

Time to update your Internet bookmarks once again, this time to add another outdoor adventure site to your list. U.K. based World Wide launched back on May 4th, and is already off to a great start, and I’m not just saying that because they posted a story on Primal Quest today either. Honest!

The site has a nice, clean design, that is easy to navigate and looks great as well. Over the course of the past few weeks since the launch, they’ve also been busy filling in the site with lots of great content to go along with that nice design. Not only is there a section with the latest news, as you would expect, but their feature content is also prominently displayed, and there are also a number of great gear reviews in place as well.

Some of the articles that caught my attention, other than the Primal Quest story of course, include their list of 15 Amazing Mountain Trips, which names some great alpine escapes that don’t require you to be Ed Viesturs to enjoy them. They also have an excellent interview with free diver Sara Campbell and a cool story that lists the basics for organizing an expedition.

So far, I like what I see, and the site seems like a great addition to the growing online adventure community. I’ll be stopping back regularly to check out the latest news and reports. Good stuff so far!

  1. Thanks for blogging/tweet about the site – you're right, it does look great.

It's great to see better online content.

BTW: You have a typo in your article – "edition" should be "addition" 🙂
