Filmmakers looking to enter their masterpieces to the 2010 Mountainfilm Festival, held in Telluride, Colorado, have a several submission deadlines that are fast approaching. The event is being held in on May 28-31 of this year, and will feature the top documentary and narrative films, both feature length and short, that celebrate “achievement in mountain, adventure, culture and environment.”
You’ll find all the information necessary for submitting your films on this page. But in short, there are some upcoming dates that you’ll want to keep in mind. We’ve already missed the December 12 early registration, but those looking to still submit have the following deadlines to deal with according to the festivals website:
Standard ($60): January 12, 2010
Final ($70): February 12, 2010
Short Films (20 minutes or less) ($25): February 12, 2010
The 2010 winners will be announced at the annual Closing Picnic, on Monday, May 31st.
The theme for this year’s Moving Mountains Symposium will be Extinction Crisis, which will also play into all of the events held over that weekend, including seminars, films, and lectures.
