The subject matter for today’s Steps to the Summit video from the Hanesbrands Team is one that definitely strikes a chord with me. The topic is “Research”, which for me personally, is always a very important aspect of any adventure that I go on.
In the video, team leader Jaime Clarke talks about how he incorporates research into his climbs, saying that even though he’s been on Everest three times now, he is still learning about the mountain, and discovering new ways to approach it. He also says that the more research you do, the more you’ll see all of the information come together to help you achieve your goals.
I probably could be accused of over researching something when I get hot on to a subject. I generally want to know everything I can about what ever the topic is, and the Internet is such a wonderful, easy to use, resource, I can end up spending hours reading up on what ever has piqued my curiosity. But I have never found that knowing too much was ever a problem. ๐
