My friend Randy Ericksen, of Legendary Randy Ericksen Films, is putting together a cool little project this year and he’s asking adventure racers and AR fans to contribute. It’s called Adventure Race Summer 2011 and it sounds like its going to be a great effort to capture the spirit of the sport through a grassroots effort from those who are participating in some capacity at a race.
Think of it as crowsourcing for video! He’s asking for short one to three minute clips of unique, cool, or fun scenes from the races you attend, and he isn’t being all that particular as to what format you get it to him in.
Shoot the video on your iPhone, HD cam, Flip Video, or what ever. Then send it to Randy, and you’ll be immortalized forever in the annals of adventure racing. To find out more, watch the video below and check out Randy’s Adventure Race Summer 2011 Facebook page, which can be found here.
Sounds like a fun project and maybe I’ll even have a clip or two to share before the summer is done!
