Outside continues its great coverage on the Everest season with a video shot by Grayson Schaffer on Summit Day on the South Side. The video gives you a good idea of what the crowds were like last weekend and why there are now traffic jams on the tallest mountain on the planet.

My God, am I really seeing that many people queued up to stand on the top of Everest?! It looks like *hundreds* of people are standing there (around the :20 mark)! That *can't* be safeβ¦
Yep, those are all people. It is estimated that about 300 people summited from the South side on the 19th and 20th.
And you're right, the traffic jams are most certainly dangerous.
