EpicTV has been posting some excellent interviews of late. Last week we had a great climb debrief from Sandy Allan of the Mazeno Ridge team and today we get a good interview with mountaineer and filmmaker Conrad Anker. The interview was conducted last week and just posted online, in it Conrad talks about getting his start in climbing, some of his favorite ascents and a whole lot more. The video is over 30-minutes in length but covers a lot of ground, so pop some popcorn, kick back and enjoy.

Thanks for posting my interview with Conrad, Kraig!
FYI – The interview is actually pretty fresh. I interviewed Conrad on 28 July, 2012 when he was in Chamonix on a photo shoot with The North Face.
In the interview he talks about his cutting edge, first ascent on Meru Central with Renan Ozturk and Jimmy Chin in 2011, as well as his successful ascent this summer of Everest without supplemental oxygen.
Thanks again from a regular reader of The Adventure Blog. Keep charging!
Thanks for the clarification Trey. I was a bit confused by Conrad's allusions to the winter season and thought this was a bit older than it is. I'll adjust the text to reflect that.
I saw Conrad in Salt Lake City last week for the Summer Outdoor Retailer convention. He really gets around! 🙂
Great work on the interview btw.
