Goal Zero, the company behind some of the best personal solar panel tech on the market, has announced that they are offering a “Buy-One, Give-One” deal in effort to help bring some relief to those suffering from the after effects of Hurricane Sandy. Starting today (November 1) and running through November 15, for every Goal Zero solar charger that is purchased, both online and at retail, the company will donate another one to the Sandy relief effort.
A couple of months back I had the opportunity to test one of the GZ’s Guide 10 Plus Adventure Kits and came away very impressed. You can read the full review here, but in a nutshell, I found it to be the best personal solar charger I’ve used in terms of maxing out portability and power. If you’ve been thinking of adding one to your gear stash, now is a perfect time to buy. Not only will you get a very capable solar charing solution, you’ll also be helping someone else in need.
Big salute to Goal Zero for undertaking this promotion.
