Standing 8091 meters (26,545 ft) in height, Annapurna is βonlyβ the 10th tallest mountain on the planet, although it just might be the most difficult to climb. Notorious for its bad weather and incredibly prone to avalanches, the peak is considered to be the deadliest on the planet. Like K2, this is a mountaineers mountain, far from the crowds of Everest.
