Looking for your Everest fix during the off-season? Then look no further than the video below. It features an overly enthusiastic host who takes us with him on an adventure to the world’s tallest mountain. The well done video starts with gear shopping in Kathmandu and goes high up the mountain, above Camp 3, with some beautiful shots in between. Our intrepid host treks up the Khumbu, stays in Base Camp and climbs up to the Yellow Band, all on the South Side of the mountain. Some of the images and scenery are amongst the best that I’ve seen from the region and this is a great indication of what it’s like to climb Everest. At least up to C3 or so.
