There is a new documentary out now called High Ground that looks like it is quite a powerful and moving film. It tells the story of 11 wounded soldiers that have been scarred physically, mentally and emotionally by war and it chronicles their attempt to find peace and healing while climbing the 6119 meter (20,075 ft) Lobuche in Nepal. The film is in very limited release at the moment but can be found Netflix instant streaming, which is where I suspect most of us will be exposed to it. To get a sense of what this film is all about, take a look at the trailer below. It definitely looks like it’ll be quite the experience for viewers.
