Video: Trekking To Everest Base Camp

Earlier this week I posted a good short film that showed the experience of trekking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. Today I have a similar video, this one 18+  minutes in length, that follows the hike to Everest Base Camp. When watching this, remember that all of the climbers on the South Side of the mountain make this trek before they ever start to climb the  mountain. Also keep in mind that both of these treks are very accessible for the average traveler who wants to make the journey for themselves.

The two films come to us from Community Media Works, which has done a great job capturing the beauty and culture of Nepal in two very distinct regions of that country. Enjoy both films and start planning your own adventures in the Himalaya.

Update: David Walker, the filmmaker who puts these videos together, has edited this film down some and it now runs just 13 minutes in length. Still a good short film of the EBC trek, so be sure to give it a look.

  1. Hi,

I did a reedit on the Everest video with more titles for clarification and cut the total time down to 13 minutes taking out a few redundant shots and shortening a few others.
    cheers
