18-years ago a skiing accident left Greg Mallory paralyzed from the waist down. For most of us, that would be a life-altering event that would probably end our ability to enjoy the outdoors, but Greg turned to kayaking to continue his adventurous pursuits. Today, he is an expert paddler who routinely runs Class V waters with ease.
The video below tells his story, which includes a deeply personal connection with the water.

I am special education math teacher I work with people that have hidden disabilities (dislexia, emotional and behavior disabilities).
Life is not easy for anyone perhaps more so for people with disabilities.
Students with IEPs (paper work for disability accommodations) have a 3/100 shot of graduation college.
They see film like this and know that number is bullshit. But they must try.
