Not much has changed on Nanga Parbat today. The teams are still waiting for the weather to improve before proceeding up the mountain. But Italian climber Daniele Nardi shared this video that not only gives us a glimpse of what conditions are like on the mountain at the moment, but also lets us know how the teams are killing time while they wait. In this case, they decide to toss a rugby ball around and play like little kids in the snow. After all, that is what mountaineering is all about, right?!?
Reportedly there is a meter of fresh powder now on the ground and the teams will have to contend with that when they move up the slope once again. The forecast says conditions should start to improve tomorrow.
