How’s this for a race? The Red Bull Dolomitenmann is a four-person relay race in which the first person runs up a mountain trail, tags his teammate who then paraglides back down the mountain and launches the third member of the team who kayaks part of the course before handing the proverbial baton off to the final racer who has to mountain bike the last leg of the course.
It looks like it is quite the demanding event and Red Bull bills it as “The Toughest Team Race in the World.” My adventure racing friends might have something to say about that, although this single day event sure looks grueling. The video below will give you a taste.
