When I posted my Antarctic update earlier today I noted that that Ben Saunders and Tarka L’Herpiniere, who collectively make up the Scott Expedition, have now been out on the ice for more than a month. That has not been an easy four weeks for the boys and to get a sense of what they’ve been dealing with, they released this short video.
The footage shows Ben and Tarka at their starting point at Scott’s Hut and then gives us a glimpse of what it is like to pull heavy sleds across the frozen expanse that is Antarctica. Bundle up before watching this one, it looks a little cold.
