Not all of us have the time, money, or physical prowess to ski across Antarctica to the South Pole. That doesn’t mean that we can’t visit the frozen continent however, and on an annual basis thousands of people go there to experience that remote and beautiful place for themselves.
The video below gives us a glimpse of what just such a journey is like, showing off spectacular landscapes and beautiful, albeit quite cold, settings. Antarctica was already high on my places that I want to see for myself at some point, but this short film just hammers that point home all the more. Pack your bags. You’re going to want to head south after watching this one.
