This past weekend the film Meru finally made its debut in theaters across the U.S. It has not gone into wide release just yet however, so I’m sure that like me, most of you haven’t seen it just yet. This video serves as an introduction to the film, giving you an understanding not just of what it is about, but what climbers Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin, and Renan Ozturk accomplished on their 2008 ascent of the Shark Fin on Mt. Meru.
This was one of the boldest and most dangerous climbs in recent history, and it is great that their story is finally being told. Check out the video below to get you even more excited for seeing the documentary in the theater.
