Video: Down to Nothing – Climbing a Remote Peak in Myanmar

Last week I posted a video from National Geographic that followed a team of climbers into a remote region of Myanmar to attempt to summit Hkakabo Razi, potentially the highest peak in southeast Asia at 5881 meters (19,295 ft). That expedition pushed the team to their absolute physical and mental limits as they struggled with all manner of challenges.

This video comes our way from the expedition’s co-sponsor The North Face, and it offers us a different perspective on the events that took place. If you want to see an up close account of a team of explorers in a remote corner of the planet, than spend 25 minutes with this film. You’ll come away with a new appreciation for this team’s efforts, and what goes into making an expedition like this one work.
