Wyoming’s Devils Tower is beyond a doubt one of the most well known landmarks in the western U.S., if not the world. rising 5112 feet (1558 meters), it strikes an imposing figure on the skyline. When Frank Sanders first set eyes on the Tower it was in a flash of lightning on a very dark night. It gave him a sense of anxiety that he had never felt before. That was back in 1972. Fast forward to today, and Frank has climbed the Tower more than 2000 times. This video introduces us to Frank and the Tower, giving us insights into their relationship over the years, and what an incredible impact that place has had on the climber’s life.
