I came across this fascinating documentary while surfing around YouTube. It is an hour-long film that chronicles the first ascent of Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, and how that climb changed their lives forever. The two men became international celebrities thanks to that achievement, but the spotlight that that notoriety brought with it wasn’t always beneficial. If you’re a fan of Everest, and mountaineering history, than crave out some time to give this video a watch. It’s well worth it.
