Should mountains be turned into amusement parks? That is exactly what this video asks, and is what some villages in Switzerland are struggling with at the moment. In order to lure visitors, a number of alpine locations have installed new attractions, some of which take away from the natural landscape in favor of other types of experiences. As you’ll see, not all of them are what we would like to see in these settings. But the struggle between economic viability and preserving the environment is tough to resolve, and there are places all over the planet facing similar challenges.
