Today we have the third, and final, installment of a video series that follows an amazing trek through remote regions of Mongolia that is led by the team at Tusker Trail. This amazing odyssey takes travelers on a once in a lifetime journey through a land that remains rugged and untouched, even in the 21st century. As you’ll see, in the clip below, it is a place of immeasurable beauty. Be sure to watch part 1 and part 2 of this series as well, as they reveal even more of these pristine landscapes.
I’ll be taking this journey with Tusker this summer, and after watching these videos I can’t wait to visit these places myself. If you’re interested in joining us, you’ll find out more about the Mongolian trek here.

Is that lake Hosvgol? The mountains and lake together look familiar. I spent 3 field seasons working among the Tsaatan and their reindeer to the west of the lake. Fascinating.
