The Khumbu Icefall on Everest is considered one of the most dangerous sections on the mountain, and after watching this clip you’ll understand why. This unstable section of crumbling ice is sliced through by massive crevasses, which are crossed by climbers who walk across ladders that are set vertically over the open space. It is a nerve-wracking experience to say the least, and you’ll experience it for yourself in the video below.
