Video: A Visit to the Scottish Highlands

We’ll wrap up the week with an all-too-brief visit to the Scottish Highlands. This video was shot on 1300 mile long trip around Scotland that began in Glasgow, ran to the Isle of Skye and back again. Stops along the way included Loch Lomond, Loch Ness and Glencoe, with the results being nothing short of spectacular. This is a beautiful and enchanting part of the world, and a place that should be on every traveler’s bucket list. I hope you enjoy.

  1. Agree, it is spectacular. My wife and I with two friends of 60 years from high school made that same trip after watching the tattoo in Edinburgh. Took us two weeks and was the best vacation / holiday we ever had. Even got to see where my ancestors came from in Angus county.

  2. My mom & I just came back after spending 22 days. Started in Edinburgh, rented a car & drove through Stirling & stayed at Mhor 84 in Balqhidder. Visited ancestor Macgregor grave then eventually drove to Stranraer to catch the Stena Line to Belfast. The Grampian Mountains are stunning. Not enough time so I am going back. Peaceful & soulful
