Created in conjunction with the John Muir Trust, this video takes the famous naturalists inspiring and enduring words and overlays them with some incredibly impressive shots of wilderness areas from his home country of Scotland. The five minute clip takes us on a journey into wild and remote places, some of which inspired Muir to become an advocate for protecting important natural places for the future generations to enjoy. That would eventually become the basis for setting aside public lands and the creation of national parks, which have become part of Muir’s lasting legacy. For this video however, all you need to do is watch the images unfold and listen to his words. I think many of you will be able to relate to what he has to say here.
