This fascinating video comes our way courtesy of National Geographic. It takes us beneath the surface of Iran, where we discover an extensive network of ancient water tunnels designed to provide a method of irrigation to remote and desolate regions of the desert. Many of these tunnels are still in use today, continuing to provide water in places that would otherwise be completely dry. Amazing stuff.
