Last week we shared the story of a massive iceberg breaking off from the Larsen C Ice Shelf in the Antarctic. The creation of the 1 trillion ton iceberg didn’t come as a surprise, as researchers have been following a huge crack as it developed along the ice shelf over the course of the past few months. Now, we have footage of what that crack looked like as it grew and spread for miles, eventually giving way altogether. As you would expect, it is quite the sight.
