The Everest Marathon is one of the toughest races in the world thanks to its altitude alone. The race begins at Base Camp on the South Side of the mountain, Β at an altitude of 5364 meters (17,598 ft), making it the highest trail running event on the planet. Of course, it only gets tougher from there. In this video, we join runner Christopher Mohn as he sets out to compete in this grueling competition. Follow him from the chaotic streets of Kathmandu to the trails of the Himalaya as he pushes himself to his physical and mental limits in the mountains.
