If youβre looking for a great video that follows an impressive expedition, look no further. In this clip, we join Janelle and Mark Smiley, along with Jed Porter, as they travel to Alaska to climb and ski Mt. St. Elias. The mountain is known for having one of the longest vertical ski runs in the entire world, as the peak rises 18,008 feet (5488 meters) from the sea. On this journey, the trio actually skied more than 13,000 feet (3962 meters), which is an impressive amount of vert on a single run. Check it out below.
