Often times when I share a wingsuit video it shows daredevils leaping from the tops of high mountains or cliffs, usually somewhere near Chamonix in France. But, with this clip we go in a completely different direction. Here, a trio of wingsuit pilots leap from a helicopter at 1865 meters (6188 ft) above the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the surface of the planet. As they drop, they actually land at a point that is about 430 meters (1410 ft) below sea level. In fact, the team actually opens their chutes while 110 meters (360 feet) below sea level as well. This is an amazing place that I’m happy to say I’ve visited, but I did so while safely on the ground.
