The Adventure Blog will be back on hiatus for the majority of next week as I travel to Tahoe for a backpacking trip. During that outing, I”ll be learning about and testing new gear from Thermarest, SealLine, and other brands, which of course I’ll be reporting on after I get back home.
Tahoe should make a great destination for testing new products in the outdoors. We’re going to spend a few days hiking in the Desolation Wilderness along the Tahoe-Yosemite Trail. This will be my first time visiting this part of the country, so I’m looking forward to exploring this fantastic outdoor playground that I’ve heard so much about. While there, we’ll also be taking some time to checkout the eclipse, although I’m moving out of the line of totality, which my hometown falls directly inside.
I’ll return home at the end of next week, but there is a chance that updates won’t resume until Monday, August 28. Until then, I hope you’ll head outside and enjoy the fleeting days of summer, catch the eclipse yourself, and enjoy a few adventures of your won.
