Last week marked the end of Cassini’s 13 year mission to explore Saturn, the sixth planet in our solar system. Over the course of those years, the spacecraft collected a wealth of information about the massive gas giant that is well known for its iconic rings. Scientists and researchers will continue to sift through that data for years to come, but Cassini has already expanded our knowledge in many ways.
