Earlier today I posted a story about the first ascent along a new route on Nuptse in Nepal. Coincidentally, The North Face has also just released this video, which not only takes a look at that mountain and what it takes to climb it, but also a line of gear that the TNF has released bearing its name. The Nuptse jacket was first produced 25 years ago, and became an iconic piece of clothing for the company. Now, it has released an updated replica using modern materials and construction. In the clip, mountaineer David Gottler talks about Nuptse, the mountain and the jacket.
