Here at The Adventure Blog we often cover stories of expeditions to the high places of our planet, but we don’t always get a chance to talk about explorers heading into the depths of the Earth too. In this video, we join speleologist Carlos Zorrilla as he descends into the amazing cave systems that exist in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí. Carlos says that there are more than 450 explored caves in the region, and many more that have yet to be plumbed. He has personally gone into more than 200 of these caves himself, and plans to continue doing so until he’s had a chance to explore them all.
