It’s no secret that my journey through Mongolia on horseback in 2016 was one of my favorite trips of all time. The landscapes and people there are utterly fantastic and it remains one of my top destinations for anyone looking for a big adventure. But if traveling by horseback isn’t your style, perhaps exploring the Altai Mountains in Western Mongolia on a fat bike is more your speed. My friends over at Round Square Adventures specialize in those kinds of trips, and as you’ll see in the video below, it is definitely a bucket-list experience.
